What are the issues for Youth in Wugularr
?
  • Keep youth active and thinking positively
  • Families having fun

  • Keep youths out of trouble (sniffing, prowling, alcohol, gunja, fighting)



Who's affected by the issue?
  • Elders/community leaders
  • Parents and other family members
  • The shop
  • Whole community issue



How are they affected?
  • Elders/ community leaders not respected
  • Bring shame to parents and other family members
  • Community and store feels worried (shop/ break ins)



Is it the same in other communities?
  • Same problem but different style (eg. sniffers broke into power station at Bulman)
  • Sniffing comes and goes here, not always a problem

What do we need?
Heres a budget for the things we need for the week. Sunrise Health Service has given us $800 to put on the week's activities.
